Morning: Visit Yumbulagang Palace and explore Changzhu Monastery (famous for its treasured Pearl Thangka)

Afternoon: Tour the Tombs of the Tibetan Kings and Samye Ancient Town.

Samyé Ancient Town — Cultural Experience in Zhanang County — Gonggar County
Morning: Experience the traditional weaving culture of Zhanang woolen textiles, visit Samye Monastery (2–3 hours required), and explore the Qingpu meditation site (accessible by foot, offering panoramic views of the Yarlung Tsangpo River).

Afternoon: Drive to Jedexiu Ancient Town in Gonggar County (approx. 2-hour journey), explore Jedexiu Ancient Town (renowned as the 'Hometown of Tibetan Carpets')

Accommodation: Hotel or homestay in Gonggar County or near Yamdrok Lake

Note: We recommend visiting the Zhanling textile workshop. At Zhaqi Township (7km east of Zhanang County town), observe wool weaving and try your hand at weaving.

Morning: Circumnavigate Yamdrok Lake (3–4 hours), capturing the scenic beauty of lake and mountains along the route.

Morning: Visit Kaju Monastery to catch the first rays of dawn piercing through the sea of clouds. After 07:30, mist will begin to rise.

Afternoon: Trek to Bai Ma Lin Co and Ku La Gang Ri. Overnight: Co Me County (approx. 4,200 metres above sea level).

Note: Traffic control at Kaju Monastery permits one-way passage only during these periods: 05:00–07:00 (upbound), 15:00–17:00 (downbound).

Cuomei County—Zhegu Grassland—Qusong County
Morning: Journey through Zhegu Grassland (spot Tibetan wild asses and black-necked cranes, experience pastoral culture), tour Zhegu Lake; Zhegu Lake Viewpoint (photograph flocks of red-crowned cranes during dry season, 20-minute stop); horse riding experience on Zhegu Grassland (¥80/hour, avoid 11:00 yak migration).

Afternoon: Visit Lhagari Palace

Morning: Travel to Gyatso County (2-hour drive), arriving at Lagangbu Monastery
